I cannot love anyone
For fear of loving too many
How long will one last
Do you put all of yourself
Into one person
Give them your heart
All you have
It could be someone else
The next week
Will they do the same for you
Enough so that they
Go through hell, too
When it's all over
Probably not, if you're a
Pathetic, hopeless romantic
Like someone I know very well.
