It's hard to find words to describe this aching
I know you're the best
You're the one for me
I gave you up because we had problems
Problems that I thought wouldn't go away
I thought
But maybe we didn't try hard enough
I just feel so tired
I wanted something easier
Something that would make my heart feel less
Now it feels less of everything
Less than I wanted even
This feeling of missing you isn't much less
Except during those times I can completely distract myself
When some other guy is throwing himself at me
Or I'm all over him
Just for a second of peace

It's not really peace
It's temporary satisfaction
Mind and body, never soul
Never you any more
