I always thought that love had to be either safe or exciting.
I've been excited and unsure,
I've been safe and happy,
I've been excited about a new toothbrush;
I've been unsure about a new relationship.
I've been safe at home under my covers,
Safe from the world,
Safe from the dark.
When I am with you
I am unsure if you will always stay with me.
When I am under my covers,
When I am with you,
I feel excited and happy and safe.
I feel so in love,
Like I never have before.
