Reach out to me
I'm losing ground
The sky is dark and closing in
I have no where else to run
My only sanctuary is in your arms
The world is an evil vulture
It is all so frightening
Everything but you
I know you will hold me
Protect me from all of this
You will always try to comfort me
I try at times to resist you
Those are the times
I am the farthest from a peaceful heart.
