Monster

Monster in my mind
You steal away good thoughts
Now I feel like less
Less than who I want to be
You are an evil
Unnecessary, unwanted
Monster, leave me alone
You've taken so much already
You take over my mind, my heart
I want you to go away forever
But you haunt me like a ghost
Always there, following me
Why don't you leave me
In peace, in happiness
I want to be content
Yet you torture me like a monster
