Meaning

You protect me from succumbing to my sorrows
From the tiresome day that looms so long
Right now my day is wavering
Without relief, without song
I reach to you for strength
With you I'll be all right
I reach to you for comfort
For your will in my life
Passion flows from nowhere
All I can feel is pain
Yet through all my troubles
I know I've much to gain
So teach me now the value
Of this suffering I endure
To not doubt your faithfulness
Of that one thing, I am sure
