Lonely

I've had my heart
torn out
unmercifully
and crushed
into a million tiny
bright pieces
which were left to
wither
away in a
lonely
darkness.
It makes me wonder:
is love something
that's real?
Or is it merely a
dream
and a
desire
that someone created
just so
there would be
and actual
reason
for
living?
