Insomnia

Dark, deep, dreamless
You elude me
Conniving, condescending
Dancing around me like an intoxicated fairy
I would cut your wings- trap you
For only one night
If I could for only one night
Have you no pity
No desire to stake your claim
Here in my subconscious
Am I less deserving
Because I am so desiring
Is complacency your only draw?
