This Wednesday, September 27th, brings somewhat of a mystery show bag to the Overload gig at Dante's Fitzroy. It's cheap - $3 - & will contain many surprises & delights to the local crowd in the intimate surrounds of the Back Bar.
Greensborough NMIT will be showcasing the talents of their current crop of poetry & writing students. The poetry acolytes are about to enter their final term of studies & many are making their first tentative steps into live poetry performance.
The commitment of Overload is to bring new performers & new audiences together in everyone's favourite poetry venue: Dante's. Each month will showcase a different Tafe, Uni or Workshop writing class in order to both promote their wares & introduce them to the scene.
The gigs at Dante's over August & September have been overwhelming in their diversity & attendances. Overload is now running weekly gigs at the venue after such great support & enthusiasm from its members during this time.
