red butterfly
Living a life on flowers...

There's a clicking noise
I hear it outside
It balances itself between
The popping sound
Of the ice in my glass
The cat sits
In the window
As if hoping
Something will happen

A bug will zoom by-
A fly or a butterfly
And the world will be exciting
For moments on end
The world will be
Exciting again
