Touch my heart
You can feel the bruises
I try not to wince
When your fingers run across them
I try not to cry
While I'm lying in bed remembering
While I lie to you about
How much it hurts
I am trying to be strong
I never want to keep anything
Away from you
I do not want you to feel my pain
You do-
You share everything by loving me
